Webster’s Dictionary of --Zion (Sion)- a religious community or its site that is devoted to Yahweh and under His special protection.
Sisters of Zion, Daughters of Zion, Sister of the Church, Daughters of the Church, what is easier to say?
When one is not led by the natural mind but by the Spirit they can truly see that spiritually speaking that Zion simply represents the church. Yes in the days of old there were daughters of Zion who chose to walk rebellious to Yahweh's law that came forth out of Zion and they were brought down by Yahweh, not because they were "Daughters of Zion" but because they were rebellious. We must use logical reasoning to know that there were daughters walking upright in the land if not there wouldn't be any sisters today. If Yahweh did not leave a remnant of holy daughters in the church that is to say Zion we might as well give up on reverencing our husbands, raising our children and being chaste keepers at home because we are without hope!
We must understand that it is Yahweh's will for the wheat and tares to grow together however that does not make the church wrong. Simply because some of the daughters of old chose, or daughters in the present time choose to walk rebellious is that to say that we should stop saying that we daughters? Should we stop saying that we are sisters? Or, perhaps we should no longer see ourselves as spiritual Israelites because they rebelled in the wilderness. Or better yet should we no longer say that we are "Apostolic" because some have chosen to rebel against the Apostle's Doctrine. Yahweh forbids!
If we can't be true Daughters of Zion that are holy, again that is to say the church, we might as well stop singing about marching up to Zion, and testifying how we are a city that sits on a hill! Is that not Zion?
Unfortunately satan's job, tactics and strategy is to keep one busy with raising petty objections and irrelevant criticism in effort to evade truth and the issue that is of importance.....that we love one another!
Sincerely,
Sister Kathy Jenkins

A Letter To Myself
Dear Self, within your flesh dwells no good thing it is the Spirit of Yahweh that can take something that was born in sin and shaped in iniquity and use it for a greater purpose.
It is not in my mouth to want to talk right but the Spirit gives me the words to say
It is not within my hands to do right but Yahweh shows me a better way
In my mind, in and of itself, it is weak and feeble but Yahweh makes it strong
it is not within my flesh to point out the things that are wrong
...about me
Please don't let me get too spiritual where I am too high to see
My husband, my children, my brother or sister that is in need
Don't let my spirit get so low that I am bitter with discontent
Always being covetous and envy of the things that were meant
.....for someone else
Stay down flesh, stay down close to the dust from whence you came
It is through Yahweh that I know you shall surely die
So while I live I must let the Spirit reign
Sincerely,
Sister Kathy

Before I came to the Lord at the age of 28 I attended many churches. Throughout the whole experience I would often ask one question, “If a man is preaching the word of God shouldn’t he be living it?” Many times I would get the response “It's not the man, it's the message”. This concept or way of thinking just did not sit well with me. Then Yahweh blessed me to get a job at a call center in Dallas, Texas. On this particular day I received a call and the customer asked to speak to Harvey Washington. I located Harvey Washington to tell him of the phone call and when I walked away from him I began to shake my head and say to myself this man is so nice. I had no idea that this was holiness shining through as I did not yet know the ways of God.
Two years later the Lord blessed me to be on the same team with Harvey Washington and one day I was speaking about the Lord and I happened to look over at him and I noticed a grieved but caring look on his face. It was the face of a father who wants to help his child so again it was the Spirit of Yahweh shining through. I said, “Harvey, what’s wrong, you don’t agree with what I am saying”? Then he said to me “what you are saying sounds like bible however, it isn’t.” Then he rolled his chair to where I was and began to expound on the word of God more perfectly. He showed me Acts 2:38 and after that I visited the Infallible True Church of Yahshua the Messiah and was baptized the same day. It was not many days later after hearing that first message of truth that the very same question, that haunted me for so many years, entered my mind.
If a man is preaching the word of God shouldn’t he be living it?
Glory be to Yahweh I had finally gotten an answer that was pure and honest and I know that flesh and blood could not have revealed the answer to this profound question. Yes, if a man says that he has been called by Yahweh he should practice what he preach. The man of God is not known by the words that he speaks only, but he is known by his fruits. It is the deeds of a man that tells us all about him. It is only in the house of Yahweh where you can find preachers that are living epistles. Apostle Harvey Washington as well as our other Bishops is living witnesses that it is not the man alone, or the message alone but it is the manner of man that delivers the message that cause people to turn from their sins and that man must be an example to the believer!
Peace be unto you!
Love,
Sister Kathy

I was reading the news today and the headline stated: A 15yr old girl kills two. I immediately began to think about the society that we live in today. And I began to wonder is there hope for our youth day. I came to the conclusion that with the word of Yahweh the young generation can be redeemed. I began to thank the Lord for teaching us through his word how to raise our children to be respectable and obedient children. I shutter to think of what my children would be like if my husband and I were not taught by God sent Bishops to train them in the way that they should go. I declare today that I have witnessed in our church how the young people are keeping themselves and pressing on to fight the good fight of faith. They are vowing to keep themselves pure until marriage, they turn the other cheek when faced with fighting in school and they shine their lights daily. Yes it is hope for the generation of today as long as we start at home first by raising our children in the fear of the Lord. We cannot expect society or the system to raise our children for us. We must make a conscious effort to be in their daily lives instilling the word of God in them.
In closing, either we begin to raise our children or leave it up to the warden in the state prison system to do so. By no means am I saying that when a child goes astray it is always the parents fault, however I am saying that anytime that our children make a mistake my husband and I must look at ourselves first. Parents let us be that perfect example unto our children and love them by laying down our lives first so that they may have life more abundantly just like Yahshua the Messiah did for us. Parents let us stand so that our children will not become just another headline!
Love,
Sister Kathy
